Happy Friday Fashion Update with Jackie!

TGIF!

If you haven’t started thinking about what to wear for New Years, you should probably start now.  ‘Tis the season for sequins and lace and everything in your face, so don’t be shy!  And no one said you have to have big plans in order to dress up!

Here are some fun ideas for a festive night out, or in!

It’s hard to be more festive than a straight up silver sequin dress!  Paired with a dark or matte red lip, bold lashes, and minimal jewelry, this is a classic NYE look. http://ow.ly/FOoH2

If George Costanza can drape himself in velvet, why can’t you?  Although something tells me that the off the shoulder sweetheart neckline will be a bit more flattering than George’s look. http://ow.ly/FOpae

Diamond studs would look lovely with this:  http://ow.ly/FOpmu

The best both worlds!  Sequins AND velvet!  The clean look and minimal makeup work so well here.  You don’t want to compete with the intensity of the dress.  Better to keep it at a strong brow and a great pair of shoes. http://ow.ly/FOqFc

Another lovely velvet and sequin combo!  I’m a fool for this color combination, and the tousled pulled back hair is perfect.  Pinks for the lips and cheeks with a subdued, lightly black lined eye would really compliment this look. http://ow.ly/FOrEv

This dress promises such a fun opportunity for accessorizing!  Love the cobalt color!  With this particular color, I’d go for a pale pink lip, but the black color could allow for a bolder lip.  Sticking with a grey palette on the eyes will still allow for plenty of room to accessorize! http://ow.ly/FOs8m

A bold and non-traditional ring like this one would look great here:

Love these cut-outs!  I would use golds to create a smoky eye here and a maroon hued lip, but not too dark. http://ow.ly/FOsX9

This color really pops, and so will you!  Love this with a dark, bold, smoky eye and a pale pink lip. http://ow.ly/FOtdO

The skater dress silhouette is flattering for all, and the plunging neckline with mesh offers a super sexy accent.  Stick with a super smoky eye here. http://ow.ly/FOuiM

This leather skirt paired with a sequined top would a great casual option! http://ow.ly/FOuQb

Both of these looks definitely call for J&L Cristina Ring! http://ow.ly/FOvFN

Happy Holiday shopping!
xoxo
