Custom Designs for the Summer

I thought I would take a moment to share an exciting custom project that I finished last month.

These are a few images of a gorgeous one of a kind piece, I was commissioned to create this to celebrate a couples 10th Wedding Anniversary. I'm overjoyed with the beautiful result and so were they!

  This 14K Yellow Gold Bangle bracelet features diamonds and custom personalized engraving, a little extra touches always means so much.

Inspiration in everyday

I was asked today, " Does living in New York inspire your jewelry?" My answer, of course it does! You can't live in a city with as much culture and excitement as New York City without it making a big impression on your work.

This conversation really got me thinking and I wanted to start sharing a few things that have been inspiring me this summer. Expect more pictures of the parks, concerts, museums, little shops and restaurants and the of course the city lights to come soon.

Today, I'm inspired by this gorgeous view of the city from the  Jacqueline Onassis Reservoir at Central Park.

A BIG thank you!!

A huge, long overdue thank you is in order! I'm sure that over the past few weeks you've noticed a few BIG changes here at James & Lily and we need to send a little love! Our new look, logo and website are the work of the lovely and talented Emily Thompson ( http://www.indieshopography.com). Emily and I worked together over several weeks and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. There are times as a designer when you just "click" with your client and this was definitely one of those epic occasions.

 I started out with just a general vision and notebook full of  thoughts and ideas, Emily breathed life and creativity into my online presence. I can't say thank you enough for the wonderful experience and the continued support! I hope everyone enjoys the finished product as much as I do!
